About Livtopia
Livtopia was founded in 2005 by Mr. Samer Salameh. Samer was previously the CEO of Prodigy Communications, a public company, sold to SBC Communications (now AT & T) for over $2 Billion. In addition, Samer ran several other highly successful US companies such as Rstar and Raysat, Inc. before choosing to retire in Mexico in 2005.
Prior to his successful career in the US, Samer spent over 10 years in Mexico as an expatriate and married a Mexican woman with whom he has 2 beautiful daughters. The idea of Livtopia was born when Samer realized he was spending countless hours showing American friends and family members how they too could invest, move or retire abroad. With Samer’s guidance, they learned they could enjoy a higher quality of life as their dollars went much further in Mexico, Panama, the Dominican Republic or Costa Rica than they did in the US.
Facing a deluge of requests for help, Samer decided to transform the blog he had started to help his friends into a full-service website, Livtopia, as a way to help people who were looking to improve their quality of life. Since then, Livtopia has evolved to a network of websites (http://www.livtopia.com/, Livtopia’s MexRetire.com, and Liptopia’s Concierge) with plans to expand to additional countries throughout the world.
