Weather in the Dominican Republic

November through April, the Dominican Republic is pleasantly warm, with low humidity and low precipitation. On the coasts temperatures hover around 29°C (84°F) during the day and drop to around a comfortable 20°C (68°F) at night. May through October, one can enjoy average temperatures of 31°C (87°F) in the daytime, dropping to about 22°C (72°F) at night. May to August is frequently punctuated by soothing 30 minute tropical showers.
