What do Livtopia's Discovery Weekend Terms and Conditions mean to me?
Every Discovery Weekend Attendee must sign the Terms and Conditions to enjoy the free weekend.
And we're the first to tell you - in any real estate transaction - "Read the Fine Print."
The DW Terms and Conditions spell out Livtopia's obligation to you, as your Exclusive International Real Estate Agent, and as a duel agent in some cases.
The Terms that you agree to make Livtopia your Exclusive Agent - ONLY for properties represented by Livtopia during the 1 year term of the contract. The contract we use is the international standard for Real Estate transactions using a dual agent or Exclusive Real Estate Agent.
The year term begins the day you submit the registration form to attend any of our popular Discovery Weekends.
Does this mean I can't see and purchase whatever house I want ?
No. You're always free to visit any properties and speak with whatever individual sellers you would like. However, should you decide to purchase any home already represented by Livtopia, Livtopia will still claim the commission on the sale from the seller, no matter Livtopia's involvement in the transaction and irrespective of the purchase price.
The contract also guarantees that Livtopia has an obligation to YOU, to show you properties that exactly fit your needs and desires. Our clients are free to negotiate prices and other matters related to the transaction without Livtopia's direct involvement.
We don't recommend going it alone, but the terms and conditions afford Livtopia the ability to introduce customers like you to the locations and sellers that best meet their needs and in as broad and comfortable a fashion as possible.
